Cookie Policy
Template notice. This is placeholder policy text provided to wire up consent end-to-end. Replace it with copy reviewed by qualified counsel, and swap in real company and contact details, before going live.
We keep cookies to a minimum. The only strictly necessary storage remembers your consent choice. Everything else is optional analytics that loads only after you say yes — reject, and none of it is ever set.
1. What we use
A “cookie” here also covers similar storage such as localStorage. Analytics is provided by Microsoft Clarity. Because we gate it behind your consent, a visitor who declines triggers no request to Clarity and receives none of the cookies below.
| Name | Category | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| writhere.consent | Strictly necessary | Writhere (first-party · localStorage) | Remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again. Not used for tracking. | Until you clear it |
| _clck | Analytics | Microsoft Clarity (first-party) | Persists a Clarity user ID and preferences for this site. | 1 year |
| _clsk | Analytics | Microsoft Clarity (first-party) | Connects multiple page views into a single session. | 1 day |
| CLID | Analytics | Microsoft Clarity (clarity.ms · third-party) | Identifies the first time Clarity saw this browser. | 1 year |
| ANONCHK / MUID / SM | Analytics | Microsoft (clarity.ms / bing.com) | Aggregation and syncing of a browser identifier across Microsoft domains. | 10 min – 1 year |
2. Managing your choice
You’re in control, and you can change your mind whenever you like:
- to accept or reject analytics. Rejecting after previously accepting erases Clarity’s cookies and stops tracking.
- You can also clear cookies and site data from your browser settings at any time.
